Beyonce posts pic as divorce rumors threaten fabric of the universe

Beyonce has fired a social-media shot across the bow of those who are questioning the stability of her marriage to Jay Z.

A photo went up Monday night on her Instagram account showing the couple from behind, swinging 2-year-old daughter Blue Ivy between them. It practically begs for the label “Portrait of a Happy Family,” coming as it does in the wake of a weekend report declaring that she and Jay Z are on the rocks.

Only “divine intervention” can help them now, a source “close to the power couple” told the New York Post’s Page Six, sparing not a drop of drama while simultaneously revealing exactly zero specifics about what their problem might be.

(Now, Blind Gossip would suggest it’s just business and a divorce would be quick. Others would suggest that Jay Z’s just a super-huge cheaty cheater and the divorce would be apocalyptic.)

But no matter what the problem is, it’s mostly Jay’s fault, the source said.

What, like it would be Beyonce’s fault? Seriously?

The marriage was doing OK after Blue Ivy was born, the Post source said, “But, after a while, Jay was out doing Jay and Bey was out doing Bey. They made the classic mistake of thinking a child would change everything and help to rekindle the initial fire, and it didn’t.”

Traveling marriage counselors, plural, have been alleged. And the couple are supposedly trying to “split without divorcing,” which sounds like a variation on “conscious uncoupling” and makes about as much sense. Then again, Gwyneth and Beyonce are BFFs.

But wait! There was that June 28 concert where Bey changed the words to “Resentment” in a way that led some to believe she was calling out her husband over infidelity.

Forget that’s she’s been changing up the lyrics on that tune for years — because that story wouldn’t be dishy at all.
