Alec Baldwin, wife Hilaria expecting second child together -- a boy
Alec Baldwin’s family keeps getting bigger: The “30 Rock” alum is expecting a second child with wife Hilaria Baldwin.
His wife made the announcement via Instagram on New Year’s Day with a little help from her husband, young daughter Carmen Gabriela and two dogs.
“The sun has set on 2014 and on my year of daily #hilariaypd ....2015 is going to be very exciting as we are thrilled to announce we are expecting another little addition to our family!” the 30-year-old yoga instructor wrote, sharing a beach sunset shot of her family with 1-year-old daughter Carmen touching mom’s bare belly.
“Aren’t I lucky?” the outspoken actor, 56, wrote on Instagram, reposting his wife’s snapshot.
Baldwin’s wife of two years hinted in a Friday post that they were expecting a boy.
“So we have an announcement to make...can you guess??” she wrote, captioning a photo of her heeled booties, Baldwin’s loafers, Carmen’s pink sneakers and a pair of dark blue boys’ shoes.
“Now, with this little baby growing inside of me, I will document for you how I am going to take care of myself while pregnant and beyond. There will be great tips if you are expecting or if you just want to learn really good exercises and nutrition tips....here we go again!!! #hilariahealthy2015”
The little guy is due in the summer, according to “Extra.” The couple also announced the pregnancy on the show on which she serves as a lifestyle correspondent.
It’ll be the third child for Baldwin, who had daughter Ireland Baldwin, 19, with his ex, actress Kim Basinger.
“We’re really excited to have another baby!” Hilaria said on the show. “We definitely wanted Carmen to have a sibling near her age. She already has Ireland.”
To that, her husband added: “I am very blessed, very blessed, we’re having the baby and that’s almost surreal to me.”
