Jenny McCarthy kisses Justin Bieber, then explains herself
Jenny McCarthy kissed Justin Bieber on Sunday night at the American Music Awards, grabbing him by the neck and then the butt after announcing him as the winner in the rock/pop album of the year category. All in good fun, right?
“Wow. I feel violated right now,” said Bieber, laughing off the slurp-stravaganza as he collected one of his three AMAs. “Wow.”
Afterward, McCarthy attempted to explain herself — which might have been about as icky as going full cougar in the first place.
She told reporters backstage that yes, the whole thing was indeed spontaneous. “It better be, ‘cause that’s just weird if it isn’t.”
(Dear Jenny: That’s just weird even if it is spontaneous.)
“I couldn’t help it, he was just so delicious, so little, and just, ahhhk, I wanted to tear his head off and eat it.”
(Hey, the cougar is a carnivorous beast.)
McCarthy explained her behavior to “Entertainment Tonight” as well.
“It was a little cougar scary,” she said, “but I took the opportunity in the window, considering I’ll never get to do it again, and kind of molested him.”
(Did she just say that out loud? Yes, she did. But wait! There’s more!)
“Can you imagine how hilarious that would be?” McCarthy told “ET,” imagining the headlines if 40-year-old she were to hook up with 18-year-old him. “It would be the cougar score of the century. ‘Jenny McCarthy dates Justin Bieber.’
“I want some Bieber fever — and I want a Bieber rash. It’d be like cougar rape.”
Happily for all involved, Selena Gomez was the one spotted holding Bieber’s hand later Sunday night. McCarthy, meanwhile, went home with publicity.
