Miley Cyrus ‘Wrecking Ball’ music video demolishes competition on Vevo
Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” music video is demolishing the competition this week on Vevo, according to the latest statistics released by the service.
The video, which depicts a nearly nude Cyrus riding atop the “Wrecking Ball” of the title while singing of heartbreak, logged more than 95 million worldwide views for the week of Sept. 8. The track topped the Vevo worldwide charts -- one of two music videos from the former Disney Channel star in the Top 10.

Her forthcoming album, Bangerz, is due out Oct. 4.
Electronic music DJ Avicci’s “Wake Me Up” holds two slots - with the official version of “Wake Me Up,” and a lyric video. Meanwhile, Robin Thicke’s summer hit, “Blurred Lines,” also continues to attract views.
