‘House of Cards’: Ruthless drive for power resumes on Valentine’s Day
The next chapter in the political drama “House of Cards” will premiere on Valentine’s Day, picking up where the first season left off.
U.S. Rep. Francis Underwood, played by Kevin Spacey, resumes his ruthless power climb in Season 2 of the acclaimed Netflix original series, accompanied by his equally ambitious wife, Claire, played by Robin Wright. All 13 episodes will be available for subscribers to watch.
Kate Mara reprises her role as Zoe Barnes, the enterprising young reporter who had an affair with Underwood but is now in pursuit of the truth about his crimes.

“House of Cards” made television history as the first Internet-streamed series to earn prime-time Emmy nominations in major categories, including outstanding drama series and lead actor and actress. Hollywood veteran David Fincher collected honors for best director of a dramatic series.
The show is based on a BBC series of the same name. It is produced by Fincher, screenwriters Beau Willimon and Eric Roth, Spacey and others
