The new Hauser Wirth & Schimmel art gallery will open to the public on Sunday. Annabelle Selldorf is consulting architect on the project, a former flour mill built in phases from 1896 to 1929, but most of the architectural decisions in the gallery were made by Creative Space, a Los Angeles firm, in close collaboration with Paul Schimmel. The landscape architect is Mia Lehrer.
