Katy Perry reveals her pregnancy like a rock star in ‘Never Worn White’ video

Katy Perry is pregnant, she revealed like a rock star late Wednesday with the release of her “Never Worn White” video.

Perry, who is engaged to actor Orlando Bloom, cradles her baby bump near the end of the tune, which is a love song to her husband-to-be.

“Let’s just say it’s gonna be a jam packed summer... ,” the singer said late Wednesday on Instagram, hinting at a summer due date in the caption to a highlight from the video.

Bloom replied with a heart emoji in the comments, where he was joined by Scooter Braun, Gordon Ramsay and Audrina Patridge, along with many others.

Perry confirmed the pregnancy in an Instagram Live chat after the video debuted, according to People, saying the baby news was “probably the longest secret” she’d ever kept. She confirmed a summer due date.

In the video, Perry alternates looks: First she’s ready for the altar, clad in a white gown, then she’s an earth mother, clothed in a mountain of multicolored flowers. At the end, she turns to the side and cradles her tummy.

Perry, 35, and Bloom, 43, were first linked in 2016 but were on-and-off for a while before finally coming together as a couple in 2018. They got engaged in early 2019.

Representatives for Perry did not immediately respond to The Times’ request for further details.

Perry was wed previously to comic Russell Brand, whom she married in India in late 2010 and then split with a year later; their divorce was final in 2012.

Bloom was married to model Miranda Kerr from 2010 until they split in 2013. The two have a 9-year-old son, Flynn.

According to Page Six, Perry and Bloom have been planning to get married in Japan in June, which could prove challenging if the coronavirus mess continues.
