Interns at top tech companies make more than $5,000 per month
When it comes to pay, internships can be a struggle -- that is, of course, unless you work at one of the world’s top tech companies.
Nineteen out of the top 25 highest-paying companies for internships come from the tech industry, according to a Friday report by Glassdoor, a jobs and careers website. Many of the top companies pay their interns more than $5,000 per month on average.
At the top of the list is Palantir Technologies, which pays interns $7,012 per month on average. Just behind Palantir is VMWare, which pays interns $6,966 on average.

Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Microsoft, EBay, Google and Apple all cracked the top 10 and pay their interns at least $5,723 per month on average.
The only non-tech company in the top 10 was ExxonMobil.
Glassdoor said the list is based on salaries shared on its website by interns from these companies. The average is for all interns, regardless of job title, for each company.
