Apple to give away songs, e-books, apps during ’12 Days of Gifts’
Apple will be giving away digital gifts every day for 12 days after Christmas to users of an app released Tuesday.
The app, called “12 Days of Gifts,” is available in the Apple App Store. Each day during the promotion users will be able to get a new gift, which could be a song, app, book, movie or something else that is available through Apple’s digital stores.
“Each day’s gift will only be available for 24 hours, so download the free app to make sure you don’t miss out,” Apple says in the app’s description page.

This is the first time that Apple has launched the “12 Days of Gifts” marketing campaign in the U.S. The promotion has been previously offered in other countries, according to 9to5Mac.com.
The “12 Days of Gifts” app is available for the iPhone, iPad and the iPod Touch.
