There’s plenty of space to putt, chip and even drive outside the Florida home that pro golfer Trevor Immelman just sold for $3.18 million.

The roughly one-acre property, which centers on a custom-built mansion of 10,701 square feet, is fittingly located near a golf course in Windermere’s Isleworth Country Club.

Through two stone columns, the home opens to a vaulted entry flanked by a floating stairway with wrought-iron railing and marble treads. A wet bar and fireplace accent the living room, and a formal dining room and kitchen with custom cabinetry sit adjacent. There’s also a theater, an office and an entertainment room with a built-in bar.

The standout highlight, a two-story covered lanai, is reached through a wall of glass and holds a swimming pool and spa, grill and fireplace.

On the second floor, the master suite features a garden tub and dual walk-in showers. Two upper level balconies overlook the lanai, and two others face the front of the home.

The six-bedroom, eight-bathroom house was on the market in June for $4.45 million, records show.

Matt Tomaszewski of Premier Realty Partners was the listing agent. Rick Chang of Wagner Realty represented the buyer.

Immelman, 38, beat Tiger Woods by three strokes in the 2008 Masters Tournament for his first major win. During his career, the South African native has racked up two PGA Tour wins, four European Tour wins and five Sunshine Tour wins.
