Canadian comic and actor Russell Peters has sold his home in Studio City for $2.5 million.

The Mediterranean-style home, built in 2004, came up for sale last summer for about $3 million and was listed at $2.799 million prior to selling, records show. Peters bought the property in 2009 for $1.96 million.

The contemporary living space of roughly 5,900 square feet features a living room with chrome wall fireplace, a dining room with a wet bar, an updated kitchen, six bedrooms and six bathrooms. A theater room has seating for seven, and an elevator connects the home’s three floors.

The master suite includes another fireplace and a Juliet balcony that overlooks the swimming pool.

Outdoors, stairways lead up to the patio and pool deck. A circular motor court and a four-car enclosed garage sits off the entrance to the home.

Neil Spanier and Scott Walker of Keller Williams Realty were the listing agents. Jonathan Nash of Hilton & Hyland represented the buyer.
