Reggie Bush gets $5.7 million for Hollywood Hills West stunner
Reggie Bush, the Detroit Lions tailback and former USC Trojans star, has scored a sale in Hollywood Hills West, selling his designer tri-level residence for $5.7 million.
The stylish contemporary, built in 1953, offers commanding 360-degree views of the coastline, downtown Los Angeles and the surrounding canyons from its hilltop parcel above the Sunset Strip. Inside, the three-level floor plan is defined by walls of floor-to-ceiling glass, polished concrete finishes and custom wood flooring.
Among its features are a library, a media room and a rooftop deck. A penthouse master suite occupies the entire top floor and includes a spa-like bath, a fireplace and a private deck. An elevator connects all three levels. In all, the home has three bedrooms, five full baths and 4,831 square feet of living space.
Outdoors, custom wood decks frame a barbecue area and a pool and spa.
The former Trojans star, 29, has spent eight seasons in the NFL with the Lions, Miami Dolphins and New Orleans Saints. He rushed for 1,006 yards and four touchdowns in 2013, his first season in Detroit.
Bush purchased the property in 2007 for $4.7 million, according to public records. He had originally asked $6 million for the home when he listed it in April. Jordan Cohen of Re/Max Olson and Associates was the listing agent. David Parnes and James Harris of The Agency in Beverly Hills represented the buyer in the sale.
