Chinese film director and producer Peter Chan has sold a home in Hollywood Hills West for $3.265 million — $266,000 over the asking price of $2.999 million.

The Midcentury Modern-style house, built in 1957, takes in a 180-degree view of the surrounding canyon and cityscape from its hillside location.

Designed for indoor-outdoor living, the four-bedroom home has walls of glass that open to a lower deck with an infinity-edge swimming pool and spa. A second, wrap-around deck extends from the second level.

An open living room and kitchen area, a family room with a wet bar, four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms are within more than 3,050 square feet of living space. The master suite has a sitting area and a skylight-topped shower.

The property previously changed hands two years ago for $2.95 million, records show.

Max Nelson, Daniel Stevenson and Damian Nelson of the Agency were the listing agents. Ben Salem of Rodeo Realty repped the buyer.
