Comic and actor Patton Oswalt has made quick work of selling his home in historic Los Feliz.

The 1926-built Mediterranean hit the market earlier for $2.499 million and in hand in three days, according to the Multiple Listing Service. It sold for $2.6 million, or $101,000 over the asking price.

The two-story home, set up from the street and behind wrought iron gates, has brick steps that lead up to the front door.

Some 3,600 square feet of living space features a foyer with spiral staircase, a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Rolled and beamed ceilings, arched doorways and hardwood floors are among details of note. The kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances, new cabinetry and a tiled backsplash.

French doors swing open to a patio with a retractable awning. Pavers, formal landscaping and mature trees fill the fenced and gated grounds. A guest apartment sits above the detached garage.

He bought the property in 2009 for $1.615 million, records show.

Claudia Hipolito of Coldwell Banker was the listing agent. Isaac Fast, also with Coldwell Banker, represented the buyer.
