NFL corner Orlando Scandrick catches a buyer for Woodland Hills home

Dallas Cowboys defensive back Orlando Scandrick has sold his home in Woodland Hills for $1.739 million.

The split-level house, built in 1965 and since updated, came back on the market last summer for $1.795 million and was listed at $1.775 million prior to the sale. Scandrick paid $1.755 million for the property in 2014, The Times previously reported.

Tucked behind privacy fencing and mature trees, the 5,100-square-foot house features an open floor plan with dark wood floors, vaulted ceilings and contemporary hues. Walls of glass and clerestory windows bring in natural light and views of the swimming pool.

Living spaces include an updated center-island kitchen, a den/media room and a wine pantry. The master suite has a lofted area and a walk-in closet. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms in all.

Outdoors, expansive patio space surrounds the pool area. At the edge of the property, steps lead down to a courtyard overlooking a river-rock pond and waterfall feature.

Justin Paul Huchel of Hilton & Hyland, an affiliate of Christie’s International Real Estate, holds the listing. Samantha Lee of Hall & Chambers represented the buyer.

Scandrick, 29, appeared in 12 games for the Cowboys last season and had one interception. The Torrance native is entering the third year of a five-year, $20-million extension he agreed to in 2015.

Last year, he bought a house in a gated Tarzana neighborhood for $2.8 million.
