Miley Cyrus buys a scenic retreat in Malibu for about $2.5 million
Singer-songwriter-actress Miley Cyrus, who bought a ranch with a vineyard in Hidden Hills last year, has picked up another house in Malibu for $2.525 million.
Accessed by a bridged driveway, the contemporary two-story sits among a canopy of trees in an area just east of Paradise Cove.
Within the four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is an open-plan great/dining room, a modern kitchen with a breakfast bar and a media room. The master suite has a private balcony overlooking the two-plus-acre grounds.
Bi-folding glass doors open to a trellis-topped patio, fountains and rolling lawns. Elsewhere on the property is a gazebo with a spa.
A two-car garage with an electric charging station sits off the front of the home.
The house came on the market in September for $2.995 million and was more recently priced at $2.75 million, records show.
Christopher Cortazzo of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage was the listing agent. Thomas Atamian of Dilbeck Real Estate represented the buyer.
The 23-year-old Cyrus is known for the series “Hannah Montana” that ran from 2006-2011. She has released five studio albums, including “Meet Miley Cyrus” (2007) and “Bangerz” (2013).
Cyrus has been an active buyer and seller lately. Last year, she sold her family home in Toluca Lake for $6 million and bought an equestrian estate and vineyard in the Hidden Hills area for more than $4 million.
