‘Office’ alum Melora Hardin sells her charming Spanish Revival in Glendale
Actors Melora Hardin and Gildart Jackson have sold their Glendale home of more than a decade for $855,000.
Built in 1928, the Spanish Revival-style house is full of fanciful details. Among features of note are ornate accents, hand-painted wood details and vintage ironwork. The centerpiece living room is topped by an elaborately decorated ceiling and has a fireplace with an artistic tile surround.
A rotunda entry, a formal dining room, a colorful kitchen with a breakfast booth, three bedrooms and two bathrooms lie within more than 1,800 square feet of living space. The master suite, with a separate dressing area and tiled bathroom, takes in a mountain view.
Mature trees, sitting areas and a brick patio fill the grounds. A detached two-car garage sits off one side of the home.
The property last changed hands in 2005 for $719,000, property records show.
Catharine Stevens of Real Value Properties was the listing agent. Courtney N. Smith of Compass represented the buyer.
Hardin, 49, has television credits that include “The Office,” “Monk” and “Transparent.” Last year she appeared in the film “Self/less” alongside Ryan Reynolds and Natalie Martinez.
Jackson appeared last year in the thriller “Deadly Pursuit.” Among his other credits are the daytime soap operas “General Hospital” and “The Young and the Restless” as well as the supernatural series “Charmed.”
