‘Twin Peaks’ star Kyle MacLachlan puts Hollywood Hills West home up for rent
Kyle MacLachlan, known for playing FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper in the David Lynch series “Twin Peaks,” is on the hunt for a tenant in Hollywood Hills West. He’s listed his English country-style home for lease at $25,000 per month.
Built in 1939, the gated two-story house is surrounded by dense landscaping and trees on a roughly quarter-acre lot. Inside, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom house has a formal dining room, chef’s kitchen and a breakfast nook. Vaulted and beamed ceilings top the living room, which has a tiled fireplace.
Other features include a library and a gym. A guesthouse adds an additional bedroom and living space.
Steps lead from a brick patio down to a stone-accented swimming pool and spa. An upper level terrace provides views of the city.
MacLachlan, 58, has a rich history of working with David Lynch, starring in his films “Dune” (1984) and “Blue Velvet” (1986). His forays into television include the shows “Sex and the City,” “How I Met Your Mother” and, more recently, “Portlandia.”
Aileen Comora of the Agency is the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
