Kanye West, Kim Kardashian expand Hidden Hills estate
Rapper and producer Kanye West and his wife, television personality Kim Kardashian, have paid $2.925 million for a 1.49-acre property in Hidden Hills.
Marketed as a teardown, the ranch-style home backs the French countryside-inspired compound that the couple purchased in August for $19.75 million. Like the compound, the neighboring property was previously owned by singer-songwriter Lisa Marie Presley.
The four-bedroom home originally came to market in July at $2.95 million and was offered for as little as $2.825 million and as much as $2.999 million over the last five months. Presley sold the property in 2011 for $1.2 million, records show.
Michael LaMontagna of Hilton & Hyland was the listing agent.
At 2,842 square feet, the rancher pales in comparison to Kardashian and West’s main estate, which spans 15,667 square feet with eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. It has one fireplace and a pool while the neighboring manor offers eight fireplaces and two pools.
The two properties total about 4.5 acres combined.
West, 37, has been nominated for 53 Grammy Awards, winning 21. His sixth and latest studio album, “Yeezus,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year.
Kardashian, 34, stars on the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” She and West were married in May.
