Actress Katrina Bowden buys an updated contemporary in Hollywood Hills
Actress Katrina Bowden of “30 Rock” fame and her husband, singer-guitarist Ben Jorgensen, have bought a house in Hollywood Hills for $1.455 million.
Recently renovated, the gated two-story has stained wood floors, vaulted ceilings and marble-lined wall fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. Walls of glass doors bring a patio with a slate waterfall feature inside.
About 2,600 square feet of open-plan space includes a chef’s kitchen with custom wood cabinetry, a dining area and a den. Four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms include two master suites, each with walk-in closets, sitting areas and Juliet balconies.
Outdoors, walls and hedges provide cover for a built-in barbecue and outdoor dining area. A pathway leads up the hillside to a sitting area with views of the surrounding mountains.
The house came to market last year for $1.597 million and was more recently listed at $1.475 million, records show.
Rose Ware of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties was the listing agent. Tamar Asken of Rodeo Realty repped the buyers.
Bowden, 27, is known for her role as Cerie on the long-running NBC comedy. Among her film credits is “Tucker and Dale vs. Evil” (2010), “Scary Movie 5” (2013) and the recently released dramedy “Hard Sell.”
Jorgensen, 32, released four studio albums as a member of the indie rock band Armor for Sleep. His solo debut album, “There Is Nowhere Left To Go,” was released in 2010.
