Designer Jeremy Scott buttons up a home sale in the Outpost Estates
Fashion designer Jeremy Scott, who earlier this year celebrated the 20th anniversary of his namesake label, has sold his home in Hollywood Hills for $1.575 million.
He bought the house more than a decade ago for $1.057 million, records show.
Set on a corner lot in the Outpost Estates, the 1930s house has been renovated and samples from elements of contemporary, traditional and Art Moderne styles. The 2,160 square feet of living space include a seamless common area where living and dining rooms feature curving walls of windows and canyon views. Pocketing glass doors open to a wrap-around terrace.
Including separate guest quarters, there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Mature trees and landscaping make up the walled and gated grounds.
Scott, 42, is known for his street-style designs that often incorporate elements of pop culture. The creative chief at Moschino, he has outfitted such stars as Beyoncé, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga.
Aaron Kirman of John Aaroe Group and Neal Baddin of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage were the listing agents. Samuel Plotkin of the Passman Group represented the buyer.
