Former Pittsburgh Steeler James Farrior has picked up a newly built estate in Tarzana for $4.225 million.

The Cape Cod-style home had been on the market since July, when it hit the market for $4.495 million, records show.

A horseshoe-shaped motor court fronts the single-story spot. European oak floors and marble finishes highlight the 7,000 square feet of living spaces, which include a living room, a family room, a center-island kitchen, a breakfast nook, a theater room and a wine cellar.

Pocket doors open to a center courtyard with a fountain. Out back, a pair of covered patios overlook a pool, spa and lawn. A wet bar and pool house sit adjacent.

In all, the home holds six bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms.

Farrior, 43, split time with the Jets and Steelers during his NFL career, winning a pair of Super Bowls with the latter. He earned All-Pro honors in 2004 and was elected to the Pro Bowl in 2004 and 2008.
