Marvel film actor Don Cheadle gears up and relists Venice contemporary
Don Cheadle, who will reprise his role as Iron Patriot in the upcoming blockbuster “Avengers: Infinity War,” has put his contemporary home in Venice back on the market for $2.445 million.
Two years ago, the actor and his partner, designer Bridgid Coulter, had asked as much as $2.45 million for the Oxford Triangle property.
Fronted by a fenced courtyard, the industrial-vibe contemporary was reimagined inside and out by Coulter, who owns Santa Monica-based firm Bridgid Coulter Designs. Updates to the house, which was once an 800-square-foot bungalow, include a second-story addition and a rooftop deck. The ceilings were raised to create more volume within the home.
Within the 2,400 square feet of living space is an open living room and dining area, a chef’s kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The upstairs master suite has a separate sitting room and walk-in closet.
A small outdoor living room creates additional living space outdoors.
The home last changed hands two years ago for $894,000, records show.
Rhonda Payne of Rodeo Realty and James Coulter of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage hold the listing.
Cheadle, 53, has scores of film credits, including “Ocean’s Eleven” (2001) and “The Guard” (2011) and the show “House of Lies.” He has appeared in four Marvel films, most recently “Captain America: Civil War” in 2016.
