Originally set to hit the auction block over the weekend, the dance studio of late singer-actress Debbie Reynolds has found a buyer at the eleventh hour.

The North Hollywood studio, on Lankershim Boulevard, has sold for $6.1 million.

The brick building was constructed in 1954, but it wasn’t until 1979 that Reynolds established the space as a dance studio.

Set on nearly an acre of grounds, the 19,000-square-foot facility includes a lounge area, dressing rooms, showers and six studios with high ceilings. A 25,000-square-foot parking lot sits behind the building.

Michael Jackson, Lucille Ball, Madonna and Usher have all spent time there over the years, according to the studio’s website.

The new owner plans to maintain the studio for a year before redeveloping the property.

Michael Eisenberg of Keller Williams Realty, Beverly Hills, was the listing agent. Travis Zidek of Keller Williams Realty, Hollywood Hills, represented the buyer.

Had the dance studio not found a buyer, it was set to be auctioned off as part of the Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds personal property collection, The Times previously reported. Based on appraisals, it was expected to fetch $6 million to $8 million.

Other highlights of the auction include Reynolds’ 44-acre ranch, a life-size statue of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia inside a phone booth, and the famous lavender silk dress Reynolds wore in “Singin’ in the Rain.”

Reynolds passed away in December at 84, one day after her daughter, Carrie Fisher, died at the age of 60. She was known for her film and musical roles in “The Affairs of Dobie Gillis” (1953), “Bundle of Joy” (1956) and “Tammy and the Bachelor” (1957).
