Christian Audigier’s bohemian ranch in Topanga sells for $415,000 over asking
A Topanga ranch owned by late fashion designer and marketer Christian Audigier has sold for $2.41 million, about 21% over the asking price.
Set behind large wooden gates, the bohemian-vibe estate sits on three acres of grounds and includes multiple structures, a swimming pool, olive trees and a hillside vineyard.
Among living quarters is a 1930s Hacienda-style main house that was extensively restored and features a black-hued kitchen, a rustic living room, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Three guesthouses, a playroom, an outdoor dining room/kitchen and a stacked-stone pavilion also reside on the property.
In all, the various buildings combine to offer seven bedrooms and five bathrooms in more than 2,300 square feet of living space.
Rory Posin and Kristian Bonk of Results Real Estate Group, an affiliate of RE/MAX Estate Properties were the listing agents. Paul Woodman of Pinnacle Estate Properties represented the buyer.
Audigier, who died in 2015 at age 57, used his connections with celebrities to help clothing labels such as Ed Hardy and Von Dutch become global powerhouses. In 2011, he reportedly sold the Ed Hardy brand for $62 million.
He bought the property in 2008 for $2.075 million, property records show.
