Adam Carolla catches buyer for ocean-view Malibu house
Comic and radio personality Adam Carolla, who stars in the recently renewed Spike TV series “Catch a Contractor,” has sold his retreat in Malibu for $3.6 million.
The 1.7-acre property, with ocean, coastline and sunset views, contains a main house, a guesthouse and a swimming pool with a spa.
The 2,810 square feet of living space features vaulted ceilings, skylights and two fireplaces plus four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The master suite has a dressing area that could be used as an office.
Carolla, 50, has hosted radio-show-turned-daily-podcast-series “The Adam Carolla Show” since 2009. The actor-producer-writer’s credits include writing for “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” (2003), voicing the part of Death on “Family Guy” (2000-14) and executive producing “Catch a Contractor.”
He paid $3.6 million for the property in 2007.
Kathryn Bentzen of Partners Trust and Stephanie Vitacco of Keller Williams were the listing agents. Bentzen also represented the buyer.
