Classic movies, rediscovered books

Think of it as TCM for librarians: Vintage Books has announced that it will reprint books that were the basis for classic films. Vintage Movie Classics will be published in paperback and as e-books with new covers that point out their movie correlates. The films include dramas, Westerns, musicals, Oscar winners and pop culture classics -- “The Bad Seed” is in a forthcoming set. The first four books in the series are out this month; take a look at their new covers and how some of them started out.
