Huntington Beach Marina to take on Anaheim Esperanza

Why it matters: Marina is tied for first place in the Sunset League with Huntington Beach Edison going into the final week of the regular season. Ryan Parmenter, who’s 6-0, will get the start on the mound for Marina, which has lost three of its four games by one run. Esperanza has clinched third place and a Southern Section Division I playoff berth, but the Aztecs need to perform well to help their seeding chances. Senior infielder Ryan Bergman has been Esperanza’s top player with a .397 batting average and five home runs.
