‘The Wire’ keeps storytelling alive
BRAVO to Paul Brownfield for mentioning “The Wire” in his list of the year’s bests [“Plot Twists Are Not All Written,” Dec. 17]. This year’s story line, told through the lives of the four “kids,” really blew us away.
This year’s plot, along with “Dexter,” proves that television can still make you feel -- without something that involves dancing on ice skates or losing weight, publicly.
Keep plugging away for this kind of quality television -- there is a big audience out there, thirsting for these kind of offerings.
