Zimmer Kids’ Museum to Celebrate New Site
The Zimmer Discovery Children’s Museum will inaugurate its new facility on Wilshire Boulevard with a day of art, music, puppetry and magic on Sunday.
The museum, previously located on Olympic Boulevard in West Los Angeles, has moved to 6505 Wilshire Blvd., on the ground floor of the Jewish Federation Building. It is aimed at children 3 to 11, and offers a variety of play activities and educational experiences.
The grand opening will run from noon to 5 p.m. with a succession of performers. Regular hours are Tuesdays through Thursdays, 12:30 to 4 p.m., and Sundays, 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays.
