ANAHEIM
Retired Disneyland photographer Renie Bardeau is well-known for photos he took of famous people at the theme park, including then-Vice President Richard Nixon, Japanese Emperor Hirohito, actor John Wayne and baseball great Joe DiMaggio. But today, Bardeau becomes a celebrity himself when he receives the highest honor given to a Disneyland employee. His name will be immortalized on an upper-story Main Street U.S.A. window--above a camera shop, fittingly. The window will be unveiled during a 9 a.m. ceremony. Bardeau landed the photography job at the theme park in 1959 and retired last July after 39 years. His best-loved photos are of Walt Disney at Disneyland.
