AFFIRMATIVE ACTION: Constance Rice, western regional counsel...

AFFIRMATIVE ACTION: Constance Rice, western regional counsel for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, will speak at the monthly luncheon of the interfaith Clergy Network at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Woodland Care Center, 7120 Corbin Ave., Reseda.

CELTIC SPIRITUALITY: An outdoor concert featuring Celtic music will be performed Wednesday night at the Holy Spirit Retreat Center, 4316 Lanai Road, Encino, by Dennis and Paula Doyle of Incarnation Catholic Church in Glendale and Erich Sylvester of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Eagle Rock.

FREE CLINIC: A variety of community services will be offered next Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 5619 Lindley Ave., Tarzana.
