A Texas Arlington basketball player accused of stabbing a teammate did not make the trip with the team to the Southland Conference tournament.

Titus Howard, a sophomore forward, was arrested late Monday on investigative charges of attempted murder, police spokesman Dee Anderson said.

Howard allegedly stabbed Glover Cody, the team’s starting point guard, in an attack outside the school’s athletic dormitory.
