JERUSALEM CHERRY (Solanum pseudo-capsicum): The red or orange berries that give this popular houseplant its name are highly toxic, containing solanine and two other alkaloids. If eaten, the berries can cause nausea, vomiting , abdominal pain, diarrhea, trembling, paralysis, coma or even death.
