Fan Sues Madonna Over Show Injuries
A fan sued pop singer Madonna Friday alleging that he was injured last year at an Anaheim concert when thousands of fans rushed closer to the stage, crushing him.
Marvin Markowitz is seeking unspecified damages and reimbursement for medical expenses in the Los Angeles Superior Court suit.
The suit said Markowitz was at a July 18, 1987, concert at Anaheim Stadium when “Madonna shouted to the crowd to come closer to the stage and ignore the security men.”
“When this happened, thousands of fans rushed the stage, crushing plaintiff and causing injury to him,” the suit said.
The suit did not say what injuries Markowitz suffered.
