Local News in Brief : Orange : Driver Critical After Hitting 2 Parked Cars
A Fullerton man was hospitalized in critical condition with head and arm injuries after he lost control of his car Tuesday for unknown reasons and crashed into two parked cars, authorities said.
Nicholas Russo, 69, was driving eastbound shortly before noon on Lincoln Avenue approaching Orange Olive Road when he ran into the parked cars, Police Sgt. Timm Browne said. Russo’s automobile then became airborne, spinning around before coming to rest on all four wheels, Browne said.
No one else was injured in the accident, which remains under investigation, Browne said.
