An eight-run fourth inning has given No. 2-seeded Chatsworth a 9-0 lead over Reseda Cleveland in the City Section Division I championship game at Dodger Stadium.

All-City catcher Carlos Escobar Jr., known more for his defense, has a single, double and three-run home run for the Chancellors, who knocked out Cleveland ace John Wilson, getting nine hits in 3 2/3 innings. Sean O’Connell has a pair of run-scoring singles, Derek Neely has a two-run single and Andy Weissberg has two singles. Twelve batters came to the plate in the fourth.

Left-hander Mike Renner of Chatsworth has held Cleveland hitless for three innings.
