It has caused some of the most diverse opinions in Fabulous Forum history. Helene Elliott raised the question Tuesday as to whether it was in poor taste for the Angels to celebrate their division title by pouring beer and alcohol on Nick Adenhart‘s jersey when Adenhart was killed when the car he was riding in was hit by an alleged drunk driver. Bill Shaikin had a different opinion on the Angels Unplugged blog.

Some of the reaction to Elliott’s blog was unprintable because of its vile nature, which is about as poor a tribute to Adenhart as it gets. In trying to defend him, those people actually disrespected him. Many however had well-reasoned, passionate arguments either defending the Angels or criticizing them.
