Did Aubrey O’Day really quit ‘Celebrity Apprentice’?

It sure looked that way on Sunday night, when the singer and former ‘Playboy’ model stormed out of Donald Trump’s infamous boardroom, headed for the elevators and apparently off the show.

‘I don’t want to be around all the negativity anymore,’ she said. ‘The environment is so ugly. I just don’t know if this is the right place for me.’

What set her off? Bumping heads with cast member Arsenio Hall probably didn’t help. Earlier in the three-hour-long episode, the normally genial former late night talk show host exploded on O’Day, screaming, ‘I Googled her and a naked picture of her with a gut popped up!’

Though the episode featured two firings -- Dee Snider and Deborah Gibson -- O’Day’s dramatic exit suggested that it would be a three-fer.

But that’s not so, according to the singer, who let her fans know via Twitter on Sunday that ‘I stay.’ And that after her big exit, she ‘went 2 church.’

O’Day obviously doesn’t know how to let trumped up (pardon the pun) reality show drama play out for maximum effect. By revealing that she’s still on the show, she spoiled any kind of suspense that could have built up until the next episode.

However, based on a Twitter exchange between fellow castmate Lisa Lampanelli and O’Day, this isn’t the end of the story.

On Monday morning, Lampanelli tweeted, ‘Interesting editing by NBC Sun., don’t you think, @Aubrey ODay? The stuff they cut out of the boardroom was disgusting. Will all come out.’

O’Day’s response: ‘Yeah. It’s tiring. And typical. Oh well, on to real life!’
