Lead characters get all the glory. But think Mr. Shuester (“Glee”) could do all that rapping without the random mute dude on the piano? Well, maybe. But that can sometimes be awkward. And sure, we like awkward, but preferably in a kiss between Mr. Shue and Coach Beiste.
She and other supporting characters like her are what keep a show complex and interesting. And this television season would not have been the same without their assistance. For that, we salute them.
