How do you know it’s a premiere? If Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd and Jack Nicholson are all strolling through Westwood at the same time, it’s a pretty safe bet that klieg lights are part of the picture.
The red carpet Monday night for ‘How Do You Know’ drew the comedy’s stars and other cast members, including Teyonah Parris and Kathryn Hahn, plus writer-producer-director James L. Brooks, at the Regency Village Theater.
Also spotted: Seth Rogen, Jane Fonda, musician Cisco Adler, Tony Danza and Marilu Henner — the last two alumni of Brooks’ sitcom ‘Taxi.’ Click the pic of Nicholson, right, to see more pictures from the red carpet.
Across from the theater, a pop-up tent hosted Witherspoon, Wilson, Rudd and others for the after-party.
Nicholson (who’d hosted daughter Jennifer and her sons Duke and Sean Norfleet at the premiere) was a no-show afterward, but Jane Fonda and her date lived it up, sipping Ultimat vodka cocktails and dancing in a private booth. Witherspoon circulated without her man, agent Jim Toth, but was in good spirits nonetheless, an onlooker tells us.
Also in a great mood was Wilson, who we’re told commanded attention ‘almost all night,’ hanging out with Rudd and a few pals in a booth.
