Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift now officially just friends

Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift are now just friends, according to Us Magazine -- and approximately half the media in the civilized world. (In case you were, y’know, worried, and in case you needed an ‘official’ stamp on their status.)
The romance was neither a contrived one, according to Gossip Cop, nor a big deal to begin with, a source tells People. And the fact that he lives in L.A. and she lives in Nashville was -- surprise -- indeed a factor.
Just a couple of kids going on a few dates, with a few gabillion-zillion paparazzi trying to check whether there was a good-night kiss.
Apparently it ended -- whatever ‘it’ was -- sometime after Lautner’s Dec. 12 ‘Saturday Night Live’ appearance and his Nashville visit the next day for Swift’s 20th birthday.
